Troubleshooting

Q:       I can’t power up the MD62 module

A:

a.       Verify the power adaptor is connected and the power switch is in ‘On’ position

b.       Power cycle the unit, by switching the power button to ‘Off’ and then back to ‘On’ position.

 

Q:       The MD62 shows a “NOT PAIRED” message on the OSD.

A:        Pair between the Transmitter and Receiver units.

 

Q:       The MD62 unit shows a “NO LINK” message.

A:       

a.       Verify that the “paired” MD62 unit is turned on.

b.       Power ‘Off’ and ‘On’ both the transmitter and the receiver units and keep at least 1 meter distance between the MD62              Transmitter and the MD62 Receiver.

c.       Re-pair the units.

 

Q:       The MD62 unit shows a “Search for FREQ” message.

 

A:       

That means that no free frequency found

a.       Wait 60 seconds and power Off and On the MD62 transmitter

b.      Power off another wireless system (WIFI , MD) to clear frequencies.

Q:       I can’t see any video signal on the monitor.

A:

a.       Check that the Transmitter’s OLED shows “SENDING VIDEO” message, if not,  ensure that:

1.       The video source resolution is supported by the MD62.

2.       The HDMI/SDI cable which is connected to the transmitter supports 12G/4K video resolution.

b.       Verify that the Receiver’s OLED shows a “Connected to xxx” message.

c.       Verify that the HDMI/SDI cable that is connected to the Receiver supports 12G/4K video resolution.

d.       Verify that the monitor supports the video source resolution.

e.       Verify in the Receiver’s OLED menu that it is connected to the correct Transmitter (Tx Switch).

 

Q:       I can’t toggle the navigation button in order to use the OLED menu.

A:        Unlock the navigation button by pressing the joystick to its left position for 5 seconds.

 

Q:       Can’t see 3D video properly on the monitor.

A:        Set the correct 3D mode in the MD62 Transmitter’s OLED menu, i.e. – Interleaved, etc.

 

Q:       The video is displayed with artifacts.

A:       

a.       Verify the Transmitter and Receiver are positioned in the same room, with a distance of less than 30m..

b.       Verify that there are no obstacles (walls, metal plate, etc.) between the two units.

C.  Verify that the two units located at least 1 meter from each other

D.  Verify that there is no other wireless unit located very close to MD62 receiver
